Excellent dinghy. Can't wait to get it into the ocean!
We bought this boat after seeing it on YouTube.We have only used it once and it wasn’t the best sea trial due to I tried it with a 6hp stand shaft and it created so much drag that the boat would not plane out no mater what weight and trim adjustments I made. Also the wife went overboard trying to get out at the dock. Both of these were our errors and we learned that a short shaft motor is a must and although this little boat is stable it is still a little boat so beachs, ramps and shorelines are better choices for loading and unloading passengers than a deep water dock. The boat is as advertised. A well built craft that stores up in the backseat of our truck. It is not a toy. This is a cool little boat that should bring years of enjoyment to our truck camper lifestyle. It’s exactly what we were looking for. A small boat that can be used at any available water access and still packs up in the backseat of our F550 crew cab. I have ordered a 6hp short shaft as well as a 46lb thrust trolling motor so we will have propulsion options for whatever adventure we may come across in our traveling lifestyle. True Kit is a solid company with great customer communication. This boat was not cheap but a cheap boat was not what we were looking for. Despite our not so pleasant 1st attempt I’m sure this boat will be fantastic with the right motor setup and a little experience on our part. PS; the inflatable life jacket worked well. lol
Easy installation and the wheels are awesome for rolling around the boat with the engine or without.

I'm subtracting a star because your photos and videos,DO NOT represent the product I bought. Nowhere on your website describes the changes you may have made to what's included with your cool grey boat.
I did not receive grey/white oars or a grey wrap storage bag for the boat to be transported in........Very misleading on colors
The quality of the boat is great. However it is much heavier than expected and there is no way Its getting rolled up back into the bag. It's fully deflated but no way. so bulky to store but fine on the water.
I purchased to use with a small electric outboard. The narrower beam and longer waterline allow it to run with lower resistance for longer range. That being said, the small tube diameter locates the seats low relative to the floor so your knees are up near your chin when sitting on them. Be sure to bring along a thick cushion. Finish and build quality is very good.
Very stable and roomy. Efficient with 5 hp outboard - noticeably lighter than prior traditional dinghy. People say it’s a “wet boat” but I’ve found it to be reasonably dry when compared to other ribs. Very satisfied.
Extremely well built, looks fantastic, very stable! What more could you ask for? Set up is also extremely easy and fast. I am very happy with my purchase.
Just inflated the boat and leave it for 3 days and pressures as stay very good… now waiting for ice melt to try it on water. The only issue was the shipping and custom but nothing I could blame Fergus True Kit USA.

This boat is outstanding. Light enough to handle myself. I ended up getting my own wheels for it, as I think $400 for the set of wheels from True Kit is obnoxious. This boat is no joke though. I’ve only had it a month, taken out twice so far. Can’t wait to get the outboard for it!! Oh, and communication from Ferguson was excellent due to a delivery debacle. Thank you.

We loaded the boat in the back of my canopy went away for the weekend we had the best time in this outstanding little 4 meter boat I have had a lot of tinnys but this thing is so much more stable on the water highly recommend this boat it’s a blast love it
Got a 4 meter Discovery package and I’m wrapped
Put a new Yamaha 15hp 4 stroke to it and without a permatrim got 32kph
Very capable boat feel safe in it
Very easy to put together and take down
So easy to pack up into a small bag and launch anywhere
So yah, I bought one of these foils because my wife and I WERE planning on also picking up a TK tender, why? Cuz the dinghy we currently have WAS absolutely terrible. This permatrim foil is so good it gets this absolutely horrendous dinghy (it’s so bad, it’s been discontinued) on plane, even when overloaded, and the motor is technically too big for this dinghy. So now my wife won’t let me get a new TK Tender. So, uh, yah the foil is great, thanks, I guess…
