I absolutely love this dinghy! It's incredibly easy to set up and take down, super lightweight, and very stable on the water.
Living in San Diego, where we enjoy more than 300 days of sunshine each year, adding the Bimini was a fantastic upgrade. It provides great shade and makes spending long days on the water even more enjoyable.
The only downside I encountered was with my 2015 Yamaha F9.9 HP four-stroke short-shaft outboard. The transom height didn't allow the propeller to sit deep enough in the water for optimal performance. Fortunately, I was able to find an extension kit for the Yamaha, which completely solved the problem.
I would highly recommend this product for anyone in the market for dinghy.
Cheers and Thank you Truekit!
My hats off to these guys! I bought a True Kit Discovery and I am beyond impressed with the quality and durability of the boat, for a small inflatable, it extremely tough- yet lightweight enough for two adults to handle with ease.
Met expectations: well made, light weight, stable dinghy that is easy to pull into the cockpit of our Ranger Tug R27OB. Easy to row.
Well-made, quality materials, easy to attach and detach wheels.
A little stiff in setting angle of wheels but works great and makes moving the boat super easy
1st week
One week in. Just starting week 2. It is great. Works as advertised. I took away a star because out of the box the transom has a bend where it meets the pontoon. It still works great. With a 9.9 yammy and 2 of us it will do 17 mph (gps). I will upgrade to 15 hp soon.
Item was well made. Fit left a lot to be desired on my particular motor and in my situation did not help the problem. It actually accentuated a little bit. I don’t think that was because of the product. I just think it’s my particular set up. When you get a second adding a jack plate, and hopefully back combined with dehydro oil will rectify my issues of extreme ventilation.
Got it for a sandbar dinghy to go out on the weekends, but it's turned into something more. Can handle chop with ease and trust it about anywhere. Been fishing and spearing on top of the chill sandbar days. Couldn't ask for anything more out of it.
Wheels work perfectly and are a great edition to the Discovery 4m however one of mine deflate after a day out unsure where it leaks from, leaked since I've received it.
True Kit Discovery - Inflatable Catamaran Landing Craft
So far so good!!! I haven’t run the navigator yet, but looking forward to it.
I’m very pleased with my new True Kit catamaran, used it in Catalina over the Fourth of July weekend, I use Warner Davit system to connect to my boats swim step, being light weight it’s easier on the engine getting on plane.
QuickLok Dinghy Launching Wheels (Self-Installation)
Everything looks great. Thanks Truest crew for the excellent customer service!
Love, love, love the Discovery 330. I currently only have a 2.5 HP on it for ferrying myself to and fro the shore. I plan to upgrade the HP soon enough.
Great Inflatable for fishing the Manukau, easy to launch in 10 cm of water from the beach. Very good quality build.
Amazing little boat better than i expected, build quality is top self! This 3.3 is light compact and can fit in the bed of my little honda pioneer 520 now i can go anywhere!
Setup, bimini and launching a breeze! Smooth ride. Looking forward to using as a dinghy and fishing!
