We call it, "Stand up Stability".

We call it, "Stand up Stability".

Many of our customers choose our True Kit tenders for their incredible stability.  Where does this stability come from?  It comes from a combination of large tube size and catamaran-shaped design.

The reason our catamaran hull shape is so stable is that such a high percentage of the buoyancy is all the way out on the outside of the platform.  Compare this to a V-shaped hull, which is how more conventional tenders are designed.  These boats have most of their stability on the centreline of the hull. Then, when you stand on the edge of the tube or floor, the boat tips over partly or even all the way!

This makes our True Kit boats very safe to climb into and out of.  When loading people or equipment (outboards!), this is a great feature.

Watch as we intentionally flood the deck and put the self-draining system to work. Spoiler alert: it drains incredibly fast! Our open grate scupper design on the discovery models keeps you dry underway and clears water quickly when needed. From thermo-welded seams that outperform glued seams, to the ultra-tough Valmex® fabric used in its construction, True Kit boats are built for reliability in real marine conditions. Multiple air chambers and a stable design mean peace of mind, even if the unexpected happens, which does happen in this video, so we can answer the question. Will it sink even when it has lost almost all air pressure? This isn't just a boat—it’s your portable, trustworthy companion on the water. Whether you're exploring, fishing, or using it as a yacht tender, True Kit delivers unmatched performance and peace of mind.
