    I had fitted a cupped prop but still had cavitation issues. Finally fitted a Permatrim and that helped hugely but still occasionally getting a gulp of air.

    These New Zealand made hydrofoils will enhance your boating experience.  They help to reduce bow lift as you accelerate meaning you will get onto the plane earlier and more easily.  The patented shape directs the thrust in the direction that you want it - pushing the boat directly forward.  Other nice characteristics you will enjoy are the sharper steering and smoother boat-handling experience.  Carefully select the appropriate Permatrim to match your outboard.
