Congratulations on purchasing your new True Kit Inflatable boat.

Conditions in Order to Obtain Warranty Coverage:

To be covered under the True Kit Warranty, you must register your boat within 30 days of purchase.  Warranty coverage is available only to customers that purchase directly from True Kit Inflatables Limited or a Dealer authorised by True Kit Inflatables. Routine maintenance and care outlined in the Operation and Maintenance Manual must be performed in a timely manner in order to maintain warranty coverage.  This warranty is not transferable and you must have proof of purchase at the time of registration .


Duration of Coverage:
1. For the inflatable tubes: fabric integrity, seams, buoyancy, air tightness:
Boats made from Valmex® PVC with welded seams (includes True Kit Tactician, Discovery, Navigator, Expedition):  5 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY AGAINST DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP
2. All attachments, accessories, parts and equipment including but not limited to AirDeck, oars, seats, pumps, handles, d-rings, seat webbings, rope holds, oar holders, floors, wheels, kayak trolleys, valves:  3 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY AGAINST DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP


Getting Service
True Kit Inflatables or its authorised representative will repair , or at its option, replace any of the shortcomings described above under the respective warranty periods . In the event of a claim , you must report the defect in writing or by email, include the model number, hull identification number , vendor name and a receipt with date of purchase, your contact details and information about what the error or defect is . Pictures of the affected area are also needed to assess the cause of action. One of our representatives will contact you to arrange so the fault / defect causes as little inconvenience to you as possible.
It is the sole responsibility and cost of the customer to return the boat to True Kit Inflatables for service.  The customer must provide True Kit Inflatables with a reasonable opportunity and time to repair the product for warranty service.
True Kit Inflatables decides whether to repair or replace a part. Should you decide to upgrade to a new or different part rather than go through the repair, we can work out a pro-rated upgrade for you.  Under no circumstances will True Kit Inflatables be responsible for incidental or consequential damages in connection with use of True Kit boats . True Kit Ltd's liability claims relating in any way to the sale or use of their boats, parts and accessories must not in any case exceed the purchase price of the product to such a claim relates.


What is Not Covered

  • Use of the boat for racing or commercial use (our boats are designed and built for recreational purposes)
  • Use of power greater than max Hp rating
  • Misuse, abuse or neglect, such as improper docking, towing, driving, packing, transport or storage 
  • Collision, improper transportation, punctures, tears, abrasions, discolouration, theft, fire , etc
  • Changes and modifications to the original product
  • Damage, such as corrosion of metal parts due to lack of maintenance, or premature wear due to improper assembly or disassembly
  • Purchase of a demo or used boat
  • Consequential damage
  • Normal ageing of the boat

Take care of your boat, the better you take care of it, the longer it will last.  Covering a boat when not in use is always recommended.  Keep the buoyancy tube away from sharp objects that could cause damage.  Keep tubes at recommended inflation pressures.  We recommend when fishing in an inflatable boat that fish go straight into a fish bin to avoid damage.
